Combat Action

The USS Blue DD 744 was hit by enemy gun fire from the North Vietnamese shore battery of the 16th of July 1968 at 10:26 am. For this action, the USS Blue DD 744 and its crew were awarded the Combat Action Ribbon. We would like to thanks Harry Fuller for digging through the deck logs and finding the pertinent data.
