Past Reunions

Former crew members of the DD-744 joined the reunions of DD-387 in father/son reunions about 1981. The DD-387 was named in memory of RADM Victor Blue and was lost to enemy action during World War II. In 1993, the first annual reunion of former crew members of the USS Blue DD 744 was held in Covington, Kentucky. This reunion was followed each year in September by a gathering in these cities:
